The role

We are looking for a Process Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in industrial environments and, especially, in the food industry, to join a group specialized in the production of semi-finished fruit and vegetable products intended for the food industry.

The selected person will provide support to the Engineering Manager in the implementation of new investments and in the continuous improvement of production processes, with a technical focus on automation, industrial control, and operational support on-site.

What you'll do

  • Participate in industrial investment projects, including new lines, equipment, and automation systems.

  • Define, validate, and implement production processes.

  • Analyze and continuously improve processes in terms of efficiency, waste, yields, and costs.

  • Provide technical support in thermal treatments such as pasteurization, sterilization, UHT, or others.

  • Program and adjust PLCs in production lines.

  • Provide support in industrial electronics and in the diagnosis of incidents on-site.

  • Support the maintenance department in line startups and troubleshooting.

  • Prepare and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.

  • Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments for project execution.

  • Provide support to the Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations departments.

  • Manage own continuous improvement and digitalization projects.
