Requirements

What we're looking for

6+ years in platform engineering, cloud engineering, API management, or distributed systems integration.
1+ year integrating AI Gateways.
Experience with AWS (identity, secrets, networking), Python, and Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
API Security: OAuth2, OIDC, JWT.
Production experience with generative AI APIs and high concurrency.
Observability and service operations (SLI/SLO).

Nice to have

Amazon Bedrock or AgentCore Gateway, multi-model routing, guardrails and protection against prompt injection, Kubernetes/EKS, and experience in banking.

The role

BBVA is implementing a corporate LLM Gateway platform: a common, secure, governed, and observable access point to foundational models for the Group's AI applications and agents. We are looking for someone who will industrialize the solution, not a profile focused on simple AI API consumption.

What you'll do

Implement and evolve the LLM Gateway according to BBVA's architecture and standards.
Integrate it with corporate identity and access (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT) and with secrets management.
Configure access policies, rate limiting, quotas, guardrails, and traceability.
Guarantee resilience and observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerts).
Measure consumption and costs per application, project, and model.
Automate deployments with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
