Telecommunications Infrastructure Manager

Ability to work collaboratively and transversally with multiple areas of the Group and with external advisors, facilitating coordination, alignment, and decision-making in complex projects.

Communication, synthesis, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and contractual information into clear, structured messages adapted to internal and external forums.

Proactivity and flexibility to manage several projects in parallel and adapt to constant changes and the continuous redefinition of priorities, demonstrating commitment and a great capacity for learning.

Solid financial capacity, including business plan preparation, financial modeling, asset valuation, and return analysis (IRR, NPV, etc.).

Ability to participate in M&A processes; experience in due diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, and agreement negotiation will be valued.

Knowledge of the telecom sector; understanding of telecommunications infrastructure technologies and new business models or associated platforms will be especially valued.

Fluent English.

How will you contribute with your skills to the purpose of the role? 💼

Preparation of the business plan, translating commercial assumptions and conditions, reflecting required costs and investments, and developing financial models below the OpCF, including working capital, taxes, depreciation and amortization, financing structure, etc. Analysis of financial returns, including IRR and NPV, using multiple valuation methods with the support of the Group's areas.

Participate in the end-to-end execution of selected opportunities, in collaboration with other areas of the Group and external advisors.

Transaction documentation: support the review and alignment of contracts (SHA, IA, financing/debt, etc.) with the business plan and defined commercial conditions.

Collaborate with other business units within the Telefónica Group to identify the most suitable monetization or co-investment model in each case, balancing the objectives of the different areas.

Prepare ad-hoc presentations for internal and external forums.

Monitor market trends related to telecommunications infrastructure and the ecosystem of operators and infrastructure investors.

What other aspects do we value? 📚

Academic background in Engineering or Finance.

More than 6 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, M&A, or investment banking.

Experience interacting with other units within the TEF Group will be valued.

Having operational, technical, or financial experience in the telecommunications sector will be valued.
