The role

At Temporing, we are carrying out the selection of personnel for the position of CNC carpentry in an important company in the wood sector located in Ponte Caldelas.

What you'll do

1. Software programming and use: Program, adjust, and interpret technical designs in specialized software (CAD/CAM) to convert them into machine code applicable to the production of wood parts.

2. Preparation and calibration of CNC machinery: Configure cutting parameters, speeds, and axes, and select the appropriate milling tools according to the type of wood or board.

3. Operation and supervision of machining: Load the material onto the cutting table, ensure its fixation using vacuum systems or clamps, and execute the machining process guaranteeing maximum precision.

4. Quality control and finishing: Verify that the finished parts strictly comply with the measurements and tolerances of the blueprint, performing manual sanding or finishing if the design requires it.

5. Preventive equipment maintenance: Perform daily cleaning of the machine, greasing of guides, and report any technical anomaly to ensure the correct functioning of the machining center.
