Requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a CNC milling machine operator, with mastery of the complete process (design, programming, and machining).
Ability to interpret drawings and translate them into complete production processes.
Knowledge of measurement tools and dimensional control.
Autonomous, problem-solving profile with an orientation toward quality.

Nice to have

Experience in manufacturing single units or short series.
Experience optimizing machining times and strategies in CAM.
Good practices in order, safety, and preventive maintenance.

The role

At Grupo Nortempo, we are selecting for one of our clients, a company in the metal sector specializing in the machining and repair of metal parts, located in the Pontevedra area, a:

The selected person will join the production area to assume a full technical role within the machining process, participating from the design of the part to its final manufacture. We are looking for a profile with the ability to work autonomously in custom manufacturing and short series environments, guaranteeing quality and precision in each phase of the process.

What you'll do

Design and development of parts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Preparation, interpretation, and verification of technical drawings (tolerances, dimensions, and fits).
CAM programming with Mastercam 2D/3D, defining trajectories, machining strategies, and tools.
Preparation and setup of CNC milling machine or center: part clamping, tool selection, zero definition, and adjustments.
Machining of parts according to drawings and programs, in custom work and short series.
Dimensional quality control, performing measurements during and after the process.
Basic maintenance of the workstation and collaboration with the team for continuous process improvement.

Requirements
