Requirements
What we're looking for
o Training in machining and/or more than 1 year of experience on CNC lathes.
o Rotating morning and afternoon shifts: 7:00-15:15h and 15:00-23:15h from M-F
o IMPORTANT: Residence in the surroundings of Rivas.
Salary: depending on the candidate's value
Contract: permanent directly with the company
The role
We currently have THREE vacancies available for the position of machining workshop operator to work for a major company in the sector located in the Rivas area
What you'll do
o Collect goods from the warehouse to begin production.
o Machine preparation (tooling and tools)
o Supply/feed the machine with parts, ensuring the parts are well secured in the vise…
o Adjustment of the first piece.
o Machine monitoring in case incidents arise.
o Deburring of parts.
o Use of manual tools, such as files, drills…
o Measurement with conventional instruments (micrometer, column, vernier caliper, caliper..)
o Cleaning and tidiness of the workstation.
o Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, tool changes, blueprint reading…
Experience in the industrial sector and training in machining processes and chip removal.
LATHE
o Machine-side programming (Fanuc, Heidenhain… control)
o Selection and mounting of tools.
o Machining of single units and short series.
o Ensure quality and precision in the machining.
o Blueprint reading.
