IT Support Technician

Intermediate or higher degree (preferred) in microcomputer network systems or similar.  

ESSENTIAL – DRIVING LICENSE VALID IN SPAIN.  

An important company in the technology sector, providing coverage at Barcelona Airport, selects: 

Network Technician to carry out these functions, these are field technicians who must have knowledge focused on hardware and the installation of cabling – fiber at the airport.

Operational tasks:  

·       Daily management of incidents – Remedy ticketing tool.  

·       Incident management via email.  

·       Daily reporting on the status of tasks.  

·       Inventory additions and removals.  

·       Periodic tasks: temperature, status of QPs, measurements, Fortinet reports.  

·       Shift handover report.  

Technical tasks:  

·       Monitor the network using managers: logs, Hivision, Prime, Zabbix.  

·       Basic knowledge regarding errors and alarms from the managers.  

·       Monitor switch port statuses.  

·       Configuration of switches (cisco, nortel, hirschmann, Linksys, 3com): switches from scratch, Vlans, ports, trunks… 

·       PoE configuration. 

·       AP configuration.  

·       Configuration of AMINOS, Exteritys.  

·       Vlan scanning.  

·       Unicast and multicast IP reservation.  

·       Locating equipment on the network, both electronic equipment and end network equipment.  

·       Preventive maintenance (TvIP, Wifi, Centers, Public Address systems).  

·       Diagnosis and resolution of incidents: with and without escalation.  

·       Telephone changes.  

·       Patching (copper and fiber) and mounting equipment in racks.  

·       Mounting of probes.
