What does the Young Talent Programme consist of?

At Thales, we believe that new generations are the drivers of change, and for this reason, we have developed a one-year, full-time internship programme which we will complement with training in a Master's in Adaptive Management and Innovation delivered by the Universidad-Empresa Foundation (distance learning).

As part of the Research and Development (R&D) team, you will participate in the development of new solutions for European projects in areas such as C2 (Command and Control), Energy Management, and others, applying new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. In particular, you will be able to work in environments where AI Agents are primarily applied to communication systems (such as tactical or submarine communications or electrical networks) in the field of Defense. You will collaborate closely in the definition of AI models adapted to these contexts, from their conception to their implementation and training.

As a New Product Intern Engineer, you will collaborate in the specification, definition, and implementation of AI models applied to systems, performing the following tasks:

  • Model definition

  • Model software development and implementation

  • Model training

  • Software testing

  • Simulation and modeling of communication channels in complex environments

  • Signal processing and analysis for transmission systems

We are looking for a versatile profile with a strong interest in learning about different environments and new technologies for their application in the generation of new products for the Armed Forces.
