IS/IT Engineer Intern

• Degree in Engineering or currently studying for an Engineering degree
• Basic understanding of cloud computing and virtualization concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure or Oracle cloud infrastructures.

• Minimum English level B2 required.

• Familiarity with development tools and languages such as Spring Boot, Docker, or Terraform will be valued.

The IT Business Delivery Solutions team in the Madrid Delivery Center is responsible for developing software solutions across multiple business areas (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Internal Processes, etc.). As part of the team, you will learn and work with cloud computing (cloud computing), virtualization, managed services, and emerging AI technologies, including generative AI services, AI-assisted development, and intelligent automation. You will also support our development teams in the maintenance and evolution of existing software products, contributing to the design of new solutions, their installation and customization, as well as testing, validation, and AI-enhanced capabilities. You will have opportunities to explore how AI can improve business processes, software development, user experience, and operational efficiency. In short, you will help the IS/IT teams in activities related to cloud and AI, while assisting development teams throughout the entire software lifecycle: from understanding source code and participating in design discussions to writing code, bug fixing, process automation, and supporting the Development Manager in technical and solution design activities. Possible missions could include:

• Cloud and AI Services: Study and implement the Azure services that best suit our applications (App Service Plans, Azure Functions, Docker containers, Key Vaults, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Cognitive Services, etc.).
• Infrastructure and Automation: Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform and explore AI-assisted infrastructure management and automation.
• DevOps and AI-driven Delivery: Help adapt Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to modern cloud architectures, leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, testing, and deployment processes.
• Cloud-Native Development (Cloud-Native): Participate in the transformation of traditional web applications into cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions.
• Software Engineering and AI Integration: Contribute to the migration and development of Spring Boot applications, identify AI integration opportunities, and develop intelligent functionalities that increase business value.
• Intelligent Business Solutions: Explore and develop solutions based on Generative AI, copilots, conversational interfaces, knowledge assistants, and process automation to support internal users and business teams.
