About the role

The Vet Office is looking to add a junior veterinarian to its team who is eager to train in a small animal hospital, with a special interest in internal medicine.

What you'll get

Employment conditions

  • Open-ended contract, full-time
  • Continuous shift schedule, alternating weeks:
    • Morning week: 09:30h - 16:30h
    • Afternoon week: 13:00h - 20:00h
  • Two Saturdays per month from 10:00h to 14:00h (alternating with Saturdays off)

On-call system (by phone)

  • One week of on-call duty every five weeks
  • The week following on-call duty, the professional enjoys one additional day off, of their choosing

Holidays and time off

  • 30 calendar days of holidays
  • To this are added approximately 10 additional days for post-on-call rest days
  • Total of approximately 40 days off per year

Financial conditions

  • Annual gross salary between 23,000 and 25,000, depending on experience and profile
  • Overtime paid
  • On-call duties:
    • Fixed rate of 150/week
    • Variable: 25% of the taxable base of everything billed during the emergency
