General Veterinarian - Exotics - Madrid

The Vet Office is seeking a general veterinarian to join the team of a continuously expanding referral hospital. Experience or a firm willingness to train in the exotic animal area will be valued.

The schedule will be structured according to previous experience:

• With experience

  • Monday to Friday shift 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM

  • One on-call night per week

  • One weekend per month

• Without sufficient experience

  • Progressive onboarding through ICU on-call shifts

  • Personalized training plan, designed to develop skills in exotic animals and critical patients

The hospital has 500 m² distributed over two floors designed to guarantee comprehensive clinical service:

• First floor

  • 4 fully equipped consultation rooms

  • 1 operating room

  • 3 independent hospitalization wards: infectious, carnivores, and herbivores

• Second floor

  • Residence with beds for on-call staff

  • Training room, intended for continuous learning and internal clinical sessions

The team consists of 14 professionals: 4 veterinary technicians and 12 veterinarians, integrating a multidisciplinary, stable, and highly collaborative environment.

The Vet Office selecciona un/a veterinario/a generalista para incorporarse al equipo de un hospital de referencia en continua expansión. Se valorará experiencia o voluntad firme de formarse en el área de animales exóticos.

El horario se estructurará según la experiencia previa:

• Con experiencia

  • Jornada de lunes a viernes 16:30 a 21:00 h

  • Una noche de guardia a la semana

  • Un fin de semana al mes

• Sin experiencia suficiente

  • Incorporación progresiva mediante turnos de guardia en UCI

  • Plan de formación personalizado, orientado a adquirir competencias en animales exóticos y pacientes críticos

  • 4 consultas plenamente equipadas

  • 1 quirófano

  • 3 salas de hospitalización independientes: infecciosos, carnívoros y herbívoros

  • Residencia con camas para el personal de guardia

  • Sala de formación, destinada al aprendizaje continuo y sesiones clínicas internas
