About the role

The Vet Office is seeking, for a veterinary clinic located in Plasencia, a veterinarian to cover a long-term maternity leave, of at least one year. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-equipped center and a consolidated team.

The selected candidate will join a dynamic team at a clinic with a good clinical caseload and complete diagnostic resources. We are looking for a veterinarian with a desire to learn, work as part of a team, and continue developing professionally.

What you'll get

Between €23,000 and €25,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

EUR 23,000 per year

How you'll work

Full-time position.
Rotating schedule from Monday to Friday:
- Morning week: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Afternoon week: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM
1 week of on-call duty every 3 weeks.
Emergencies paid separately.
1 Saturday every 3 weeks, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

About the company & team

The team consists of 4 veterinarians and 1 veterinary technician, which allows for good peer support and a collaborative work environment.

Profile

Graduate in veterinary medicine and accredited in Spain, with a minimum of 6 months of experience.
Experience in soft tissue surgery will be valued, although all profiles will be considered.
Interest in internal medicine and daily clinical work.
Good teamwork skills.
