The role

We are looking for a veterinarian to join the internal medicine and hospitalization department at the hospital in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing and treating hospitalized animals, client care, and performing diagnostic tests (ultrasound, X-ray, lab work, etc.), as well as an interest in ongoing education.

Raise healthcare standards and coordination between specialties.
Increase the diagnosis rate in complex cases.
Train and support generalists and specialists.
Improve retention of chronic patients and survival of critical ones.

What you'll do

Coordination with specialist and generalist veterinarians to improve the service and ensure high medical quality in anamnesis and treatment.
Management of referred patients in internal medicine and hospitalization.
Performing complete anamnesis and physical examinations.
Formulating differential diagnoses and performing diagnostic tests.
Managing medical emergencies.
Participating in protocols and regular meetings.

How you'll work

Employment type: Full-time contract.
Schedule: Full-time (average of 38.5 hours/week).
