We are looking for a veterinarian to join a team dedicated exclusively to cats!

At The Vet Office, we collaborate with a renowned feline clinic located in Barcelona that is looking to add to its team a veterinarian with an interest in the world of feline medicine. Previous experience is not essential, but a strong desire to learn and a genuine affinity for cats are.

• General medical care for feline patients (consultation, diagnosis, treatment)

• Hospitalization follow-up

• Minor surgeries (depending on level of experience)

• Advising feline guardians

• Active participation in internal clinical sessions

• Permanent contract

• Full-time position of 40 hours, but usually 35 hours are worked. There are rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night, and some weekends)

• Salary: between 24,000 and 31,000 gross/year, depending on experience.

Essential requirements

• Degree or Licentiate in Veterinary Medicine

• Genuine interest in feline medicine

• Willingness to learn, clinical commitment, and a good attitude

Will be valued positively

• Previous experience with cats (internships, volunteering, work)

• Knowledge of feline medicine, diagnostics, or behavior

• Good rapport with feline guardians and communication skills

• Basic level of English (not essential, but useful)

• No need to speak Catalan

• Direct supervision from a clinical team made up of 13 veterinarians (5 seniors, 2 generalists, 6 juniors) and 26 veterinary technicians

• Constant internal training:

  • Weekly talks on nutrition, anesthesia, internal medicine

Desde The Vet Office colaboramos con una reconocida clínica felina ubicada en Barcelona que busca incorporar a su equipo un/a veterinari@ con interés en el mundo de la medicina felina. No es imprescindible tener experiencia previa, pero sí muchas ganas de aprender y una auténtica afinidad por los gatos.

• Atención médica general a pacientes felinos (consulta, diagnóstico, tratamiento)

• Seguimiento de hospitalización

• Cirugías menores (dependiendo del nivel de experiencia)

• Asesoramiento a tutores felinos

• Participación activa en sesiones clínicas internas

• Contrato indefinido

• Jornada completa de 40 horas pero normalmente se trabajan 35h. Hay turnos rotativos (mañana, tarde, noche y algunos fines de semana

• Sueldo: entre 24.000 y 31.000 brutos/año, según experiencia.

Requisitos indispensables

• Grado o Licenciatura en Veterinaria

• Interés genuino por la medicina felina

• Ganas de aprender, implicación clínica y buena actitud

Se valorará positivamente

• Experiencia previa con gatos (prácticas, voluntariado, trabajo)

• Conocimientos en medicina felina, diagnóstico o comportamiento

• Buen trato con tutores felinos y habilidades comunicativas

• Nivel básico de inglés (no imprescindible, pero útil)

• No es necesario hablar catalán

• Supervisión directa de un equipo clínico formado por 13 veterinarios (5 seniors, 2 generalistas, 6 juniors) y 26 ATVs

• Formación interna constante:

  • Charlas semanales de nutrición, anestesia, medicina interna

  • Acceso a plataformas online de formación

  • Posibilidad de asistir a congresos (AVEPA, medicina felina)

• Apoyo para participar en publicaciones, congresos o elaboración de pósteres científicos

• Acompañamiento clínico real desde el primer día

• Opción de ayuda económica para realizar posgrados

• Iniciativas de desarrollo interno como elaboración de manuales junto con el equipo júnior
