What you'll do

💡 What you will do on a day-to-day basis

✔️Repair of bodywork damage: straightening, replacement and fitting of panels, reinforcements and auxiliary structures following manufacturer procedures and drawings.

✔️Surface preparation: cleaning, derusting, sanding, primer treatment and application of fillers and sealants to ensure a robust and durable finish.

✔️Application of paints and varnishes: paint mixing, colour adjustment, spray gun application and drying and baking processes according to technical specifications and environmental standards.

✔️Removal and fitting of interior and exterior components when necessary for the repair and protection of adjacent elements.

✔️Inspection and quality control of the finish: verification of colour, texture, adhesion and gloss levels before delivery to the customer.

✔️Management of work orders: recording of interventions, times, materials consumed and communication with parts department for replacement of parts and paint supplies.

✔️Collaboration with the workshop, after-sales and sales team to coordinate delivery deadlines, quotes and follow-up of technical and aesthetic issues.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

🔹 Vocational training in Bodywork, Paint, Automotive or equivalent training and/or demonstrable experience in panel beating and painting in authorised workshops or companies in the sector.

🔹Minimum experience of 3/5 years in bodywork repairs and painting processes, preferably with industrial or commercial vehicles.

🔹Knowledge of straightening techniques, use of bodywork tools, light welding (if applicable), use of fillers and priming and painting procedures.

🔹Ability to mix and match colours, use of spray guns and application equipment, and control of drying and curing parameters according to product and manufacturer specifications.

🔹Handling of manual and power tools specific to the trade and experience with paint booths and extraction and lighting systems for the final finish.

🔹Organisational skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality in the delivery of work.

🔹Basic use of workshop computer systems to record work orders and internal communications.

🔹Valid category B driving licence. Higher licences or experience with industrial vehicles will be valued.
