Cleaning and Housekeeping Staff

We are looking for meticulous, discreet, and highly skilled cleaning staff to join the housekeeping team of an ultra-luxury private villa in Pedralbes, Barcelona. This is an operational position that requires exceptional attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, respects the privacy of the home, and is always one step ahead without needing to be told.

• Keep all rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces of the villa in impeccable condition — cleaning, dusting, polishing, and organizing with precision and care.
• Handle bed linen and delicate garments with the utmost care — washing, ironing, folding, and returning items in perfect condition.
• Prepare rooms and common spaces before the arrival of the principal or for special occasions — ensuring that presentation always meets the villa's luxury standards.
• Monitor and replenish household supplies — report low stock, maintain inventory, and ensure the villa is always perfectly equipped.
• Proactively report any maintenance issues, damage, or irregularities to the Head of Housekeeping — without waiting to be asked.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team and the rest of the villa's staff — supporting events, special requests, and day-to-day operations as needed.

This is a freelance / on-call position. The role will be active during the owners' stays at the property and may vary in frequency and duration throughout the year. Candidates must be available to commit to confirmed dates and maintain the same level of excellence in every engagement, regardless of its duration.

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel (4 or 5 stars), private residence, or high-end hospitality environment.
• Good command of Spanish — English will be positively valued for this position.
• Exceptional attention to detail — a natural ability to notice what others overlook and correct it without needing to be told.
• Absolute discretion and respect for the privacy of the home — trust and confidentiality are non-negotiable in this environment.
• Knowledge of delicate fabric care, luxury surface treatment, and handling of valuable items — experience in high-end environments is essential (4+/5+ hotels or tourist residences).
• Availability and schedule flexibility — the position adapts to the needs of the household, including some afternoons and weekends when necessary.

Se trata de un puesto operativo que requiere una atención excepcional al detalle, una actitud proactiva y la capacidad de mantener los más altos estándares de limpieza y presentación en todo momento. • Mantener todas las habitaciones, zonas comunes y espacios exteriores de la villa en un estado impecable — limpieza, desempolvado, pulido y organización con precisión y cuidado.
• Gestionar la ropa de cama y prendas delicadas con el máximo cuidado — lavado, planchado, doblado y devolución de los artículos en perfecto estado.
• Preparar habitaciones y espacios comunes antes de la llegada del/la principal o de ocasiones especiales — asegurando que la presentación cumpla en todo momento con los estándares de lujo de la villa.
• Controlar y reponer los suministros del hogar — informar del stock bajo, mantener el inventario y garantizar que la villa esté siempre perfectamente equipada.
• Comunicar de forma proactiva al/a la Jefe/a de Housekeeping cualquier incidencia de mantenimiento, daño o irregularidad — sin esperar a que se lo soliciten.
• Colaborar con el equipo de housekeeping y con el resto del personal de la villa — apoyando en eventos, solicitudes especiales y operaciones del día a día según sea necesario.

Esta es una posición freelance / on-call. El rol estará activo durante las estancias de los propietarios en la propiedad y puede variar en frecuencia y duración a lo largo del año. Los candidatos deben estar disponibles para comprometerse con las fechas confirmadas y mantener el mismo nivel de excelencia en cada colaboración, independientemente de su duración.

• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en housekeeping en un hotel de lujo (4 o 5 estrellas), residencia privada o entorno de hospitalidad de alto nivel.
• Buen dominio del español — el inglés se valorará positivamente para este puesto.
• Atención excepcional al detalle — capacidad natural para detectar lo que otros pasan por alto y corregirlo sin necesidad de que nadie lo indique.
• Discreción absoluta y respeto por la privacidad del hogar — la confianza y la confidencialidad son innegociables en este entorno.
• Conocimiento del cuidado de tejidos delicados, tratamiento de superficies de lujo y manipulación de objetos valiosos — la experiencia en entornos de alto nivel es imprescindible( hoteles 4+/5+ o residencias turísticas)
• Disponibilidad y flexibilidad horaria — el puesto se adapta a las necesidades del hogar, incluyendo algunas tardes y fines de semana cuando sea necesario
