Requirements

What we're looking for

Essential experience in the commissioning of self-consumption installations, especially: the configuration of inverters, smartloggers, dataloggers, Moxas, routers, and integration into manufacturer or proprietary SCADAs. Important knowledge of HUAWEI technology.
Knowledge and experience in the AC current distribution part in LV: regulations, utility requirements, interpretation of electrical plans, protections, from the AC part of the photovoltaic inverter to the delivery point to the electric utility.
Experience as a technician and/or supervisor, coordinator, with experience in management tasks, report writing, etc.
Driver's License.

The role

Veolia Solar, a photovoltaic services company specializing in solar self-consumption for companies, industries, or residential buildings and belonging to the Veolia group in Spain, needs to hire a Solar Plant Maintenance Technician for the Catalonia area (mainly the province of Barcelona).

What you'll do

- Carry out maintenance of photovoltaic installations in the area: preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, etc.
- Support area management tasks.
- Conduct client visits for new maintenance offers.
- Carry out audits of new solar plants.
- Coordinate the handover of new plants to maintenance that can be incorporated into the area.
- Manage, together with the monitoring department, the management and maintenance of the plants.
