Veolia Servicios Lecam, in its energy services division, needs to hire an Instrumentation Maintenance Technician for La Isla, Gran Canaria.
What you'll do
Their main responsibilities will be:
Perform major and minor inspections on high-criticality equipment (transformers, alternators, medium and high voltage cells).
Intervene in circuit breakers, disconnectors, excitations, and protection systems of generation plants.
Execute tests and diagnostics on critical electrical equipment.
Take dielectric oil samples and perform winding insulation tests (meggers).
Verify temperature and vibration control loops in generation systems.
Recondition or replace damaged components in alternators and transformers.
Change bearings on cooling pump motors and vibration sensors.
Replace defective thermocouples and other measuring instruments
Requirements
Valuable: Vocational Training (Grado Medio) in Electricity and Electronics Industrial Instrumentation, with experience in generation plants.
2-3 years of experience in maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
Knowledge of electrical safety regulations (RBT, NTP), ability to work in a team, and availability to travel between the four work centers.
