The role

Veolia Servicios Lecam, in its energy services division, is looking to incorporate an Automation and Control Specialist profile in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. 

What you'll do

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of industrial automation and control equipment and facilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in automation, control, and instrumentation systems.
  • Program, modify, and perform maintenance on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SCADA systems, HMI, and frequency drives.
  • Supervise and maintain electrical panels, sensors, actuators, communication loops, automation and control systems, and instrumentation equipment.                                                            
  • Analyze recurring failures and propose improvement measures to increase the availability and reliability of the facilities.
  • Participate in the commissioning of new equipment, lines, and automated processes.
  • Coordinate work with maintenance, production, supplier, and external company teams.
  • Prepare and update electrical plans, diagrams, manuals, and technical reports.
  • Manage spare parts, materials, and resources necessary for maintenance.
  • Comply with and enforce safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor maintenance indicators and propose continuous improvement actions.
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance team and the production area.
