The role

The position would be within the water sector.

What you'll do

👉What will your main functions be?

Participate in the drafting of river defense and environmental restoration projects
Hydrological and hydraulic studies
Cost-benefit and flood risk management studies and 2D hydraulic simulations.

Requirements

👉What are the main requirements?

University degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Environmental Sciences or similar
From 3 years of experience in fluvial engineering projects (defense works, channelization, river restoration), cost-benefit studies and flood risk management, as well as the preparation and development of work related to the Flood Directive (EPRI, MAPRI and PGRI)
Previous experience in hydrological and hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, IBER, MIKE, INFOWORKS, etc.), and ArcGIS/QGIS geographic information systems

Location: Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, Murcia, Barcelona or Valencia.
