Computer Vision Technician

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to tackle a variety of tasks in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Python or C++.
• Knowledge of CNNs, image processing, object detection and recognition, and image segmentation.
• Essential to have experience using computer vision libraries and frameworks, preferably OpenCV.
• Selection of cameras, lenses, and lighting, as well as setup definition.
• Experience in commissioning computer vision systems.
• Proactive individual with leadership qualities, eagerness to learn, fast execution capability with focus on quality, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel.

• Languages: Advanced English. French or German will be positively valued.

Biele Group, a leading European group in industrial process automation, and Vicomtech, a technology center within the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation specialized in applied research in digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Visual Computing & Interaction, have established a joint agreement to recruit talent within a dual framework.

We are looking for a professional to join our team in the position of Computer Vision Technician.

The candidate who joins this position will receive specialized training at the Vicomtech technology center for a period of 12 months, after which they will join Biele Digital-a Biele Group company specializing in the development of solutions that optimize manufacturing processes through production management software, advanced data analysis tools, and computer vision systems.

• Analysis and definition of the hardware to be used for the project.
• Programming code for each project according to specific needs.
• Project monitoring and follow-up.
• Commissioning / Implementation.
