The role
Currently, we want to incorporate a FARM TRIAL TECHNICIAN for one of our companies located in Lleida, participating in the monitoring and development of experimental trials carried out on Vall Companys Group farms.
What you'll do
Perform the monitoring, control, and data collection of experimental trials developed in farms, feed mills, and slaughterhouses, following the protocols established by the technical team.

Plan together with the technical team the tasks necessary for the development of each trial.

Coordinate with farm managers the execution and monitoring of experimental trials.

Prepare and keep up to date the documentation necessary for each trial.

Monitor and record production parameters such as feed consumption, animal weight, backfat and other indicators.

Monitor the health status of the animals, the environmental conditions and the supply of experimental feeds.

Collect samples on the farm and/or at the slaughterhouse, such as feed, blood, feces or fat.

Control the traceability of experimental feeds from the factory to the farm.

Monitor the animals at the slaughterhouse and record data related to carcass composition and yield.

Enter, verify and analyze, using Excel, the data obtained during the tests.

Collaborate on quality control tasks, equipment maintenance and other activities related to the projects.
