Systems Administrator

We are looking for a technical profile oriented to IT/NOC operations in critical environments, with experience in monitoring, incident management, and operation of Linux, Windows, and VMware infrastructures.

The position is based in Seville under a hybrid work model, working some days from home and others from the office, where you will be able to create interesting synergies with the rest of your team.
It is essential to reside in Spain and have a work permit in Spain.

Functions:

• Monitor IT platforms using tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana, ensuring early detection of incidents

• Manage logs with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for event analysis and troubleshooting

• Operate production environments on RHEL 7/8/9, Windows Server, and VMware ESXi (clusters and VMs)

• Automate alerts and operational tasks through scripting in Python and Bash

Responsibilities:

• Manage incidents under ITIL frameworks in 24×7 services using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or GLPI

• Analyze and resolve incidents in virtualized VMware infrastructures, identifying root causes and applying corrective actions

• Execute operations on Oracle 19c, MySQL, and MariaDB databases focused on diagnosis and support

• Maintain and improve operational procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation to standardize operations

• Collaborate in the operation of high-criticality environments, ensuring availability and SLA compliance

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations, NOC, or production support environments

• Minimum 2 years of experience in incident management under ITIL methodology in 24×7 services

• Minimum 2 years of experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Linux systems (RHEL 7/8/9) or Windows Server

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with VMware ESXi environments in operations

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing logs with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

• Minimum 1 year of experience scripting with Python or Bash

• Experience writing operational procedures and technical runbooks

• RHCSA certification - Red Hat Certified System Administrator

• VMware VCP-DCV certification - Certified Professional

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 certification

• ITIL Foundation v4 certification

Valuable requirements:

• Zabbix Certified Specialist certification

• Elastic Certified Analyst certification

• MCTS Windows Server certification

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Public Administration environments

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating Oracle, MySQL, or MariaDB databases

Funciones:

• Monitorizar plataformas IT mediante herramientas como Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus y Grafana, asegurando la detección temprana de incidencias

• Gestionar logs con ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) para análisis de eventos y troubleshooting

• Operar entornos productivos sobre RHEL 7/8/9, Windows Server y VMware ESXi (clústeres y VMs)

• Automatizar alertas y tareas operativas mediante scripting en Python y Bash

Responsabilidades:

• Gestionar incidencias bajo marcos ITIL en servicios 24×7 utilizando herramientas ITSM como ServiceNow, Remedy o GLPI

• Analizar y resolver incidencias en infraestructuras virtualizadas VMware, identificando causas raíz y aplicando acciones correctivas

• Ejecutar operaciones sobre bases de datos Oracle 19c, MySQL y MariaDB orientadas a diagnóstico y soporte

• Mantener y mejorar procedimientos operativos, runbooks y documentación técnica para estandarizar la operación

• Colaborar en la operación de entornos de alta criticidad, asegurando disponibilidad y cumplimiento de SLA

Requisitos imprescindibles:

• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en operaciones IT, NOC o entornos de soporte en producción

• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en gestión de incidencias bajo metodología ITIL en servicios 24×7

• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia con herramientas de monitorización como Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus o Grafana

• Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en operación de sistemas Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) o Windows Server

• Mínimo 1 año de experiencia trabajando con entornos VMware ESXi en operaciones

• Mínimo 1 año de experiencia en gestión de logs con ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

• Mínimo 1 año de experiencia en scripting con Python o Bash

• Experiencia en redacción de procedimientos operativos y runbooks técnicos
