Senior Consultant / Cloud Migration / Azure

We are looking to bring on board an Azure Cloud Migration Consultant / Engineer with solid experience in the design, execution, and operation of cloud migrations, with a strong focus on automation, architecture, and stability during critical windows.

Job duties

• Design and execute migrations to Azure IaaS, applying replication patterns, cutover, rollback, and window management with a focus on zero impact.

• Build, operate, and evolve infrastructures through automation and IaC (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell/Bash scripting).

• Define and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure (Recovery Services Vault, Azure Site Recovery), including procedures and evidence.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Windows and Linux systems, networks, and performance, ensuring stability and SLA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives in Azure and, on an ad hoc basis, in other cloud providers.

• Design robust and secure cloud architectures, including networking (DNS, routing, NSG, firewalls), identity, and access control (RBAC).

• Operate and optimize backup and DR solutions, defining policies, runbooks, and executable documentation for auditing and operations.

• Develop and maintain automations with Terraform and Ansible, as well as CI/CD pipelines for deployment and continuous operations.

• Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, and country teams, acting as a technical reference in committees and specialized forums.

• Ensure clear and structured communication, anticipating risks and guaranteeing migration windows without surprises.

Work mode and location
The position is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model, with some days working from home and others at the office, where you can create valuable synergies with the rest of your team.

It is essential to reside in Spain and hold a valid work permit in Spain.

Buscamos incorporar un/a Azure Cloud Migration Consultant / Engineer con experiencia sólida en diseño, ejecución y operación de migraciones cloud, con un fuerte enfoque en automatización, arquitectura y estabilidad en ventanas críticas.

Funciones a realizar

• Diseñar y ejecutar migraciones a Azure IaaS, aplicando patrones de replicación, cutover, rollback y gestión de ventanas con foco en cero impacto.

• Construir, operar y evolucionar infraestructuras mediante automatización e IaC (Terraform, pipelines CI/CD, scripting en PowerShell/Bash).

• Definir e implementar soluciones de backup y disaster recovery en Azure (Recovery Services Vault, Azure Site Recovery), incluyendo procedimientos y evidencias.

• Realizar troubleshooting avanzado sobre sistemas Windows y Linux, redes y rendimiento, garantizando estabilidad y cumplimiento de SLAs.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar técnicamente iniciativas de migración y modernización cloud en Azure y, de forma puntual, en otros cloud providers.

• Diseñar arquitecturas cloud robustas y seguras, incluyendo networking (DNS, routing, NSG, firewalls), identity y control de accesos (RBAC).

• Operar y optimizar soluciones de backup y DR, definiendo políticas, runbooks y documentación ejecutable para auditoría y operación.
