• Demonstrable experience with Oracle Unified Assurance (UA).

At AD4 Octógono, we are looking for a Senior OSS Engineer to join a specialized project within the Telecommunications sector, working on high technical demand OSS environments.

We are looking for a hands-on profile, with real experience in the administration, development, and maintenance of solutions on Oracle Unified Assurance (UA) and solid scripting knowledge with Perl and Bash/Shell.

The selected person will participate in the operation and evolution of OSS solutions, integrations between systems, and incident resolution in production environments, working with a high level of technical autonomy.

⚠️ Important: we are looking for an eminently technical and development-oriented profile. Profiles oriented exclusively toward strategy, governance, management, or consulting without demonstrable experience in direct technical development and operation will not be considered.

• Administer, develop, and maintain solutions on Oracle Unified Assurance (UA).
• Perform deployments and participate in the operation of solutions in production environments.
• Develop and maintain solutions within Telecommunications OSS/BSS environments.
• Participate in the evolution and integration of OSS platforms.
• Develop advanced Perl scripts, including module creation, optimization, and integration with APIs and external systems.
• Automate tasks using Bash / Shell scripting in Linux/Unix environments.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs for integration between OSS systems.
• Manage authentication, error handling, and retry mechanisms in integrations.
• Work with Oracle Database and/or MySQL, developing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Perform optimization and troubleshooting of queries in production environments with large volumes of data.
• Participate in the monitoring of OSS solutions.
• Resolve complex technical incidents in production autonomously.
• Collaborate in deployment processes and change management.
• Use incident and change management tools such as Remedy and/or Jira.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports associated with the activities performed.
• Participate in periodic meetings with the client.
• Work coordinately with other technical and functional teams.

We are looking for a Senior, technical, and hands-on professional, accustomed to working directly on OSS platforms and production environments.

They must be able to analyze problems, develop solutions, automate processes, and resolve complex incidents with autonomy.

It is especially important to have real experience in Oracle Unified Assurance, advanced Perl, and OSS/BSS in Telecommunications.

We are not looking for a purely consultative or management profile, but rather a person who enjoys working directly with technology and can contribute technical experience from day one.
