Job description

From Adecco Selección, we collaborate with a leading group in the supply of efficient and sustainable solutions for the automotive sector. We are looking to bring on board a Simulation Engineer (Mechanical Design) for one of its plants in Burgos.

The selected candidate will take part in the technical development of projects related to products, processes, and facilities, providing support to the engineering area and collaborating with other departments on technical needs, with a focus on design, simulation, and continuous improvement.

Main duties:

  • Preparation, execution, and monitoring of development plans, reporting progress to the Engineering Manager.
  • 2D and 3D technical design of mechanical parts and components.
  • Simulation and analysis of parts and processes using specialized software.
  • Definition and development of production processes associated with projects.
  • Identification of technical and material needs.
  • Management of machinery and material purchases for engineering projects.
  • Programming of robots linked to technical projects.
  • Preparation of technical project documentation.
  • Implementation of actions to achieve development objectives.
  • Technical support to different departments.
  • Contribution to the order, maintenance, and proper management of technical material.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • English level between B2 and C1.
  • Knowledge of design and simulation tools:

SolidWorks

AutoCAD

CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Sheet Metal, etc.)

  • Experience in R&D, product development, or simulation environments.
  • Previous experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment and with machined parts.
  • Driver's license and own vehicle.
