What we're looking for

The AFANIAS families association was founded in 1964 and works every day to be a leading organization in intellectual disability, with social presence and influence, facilitating the autonomy and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, responding to their life cycle.

In this context, the position of Social Worker is being called for at our residence located in Viñuelas (Guadalajara).

The mission of the position will be to guarantee, under the supervision of the management, the care of the residents according to the AFANIAS model and quality and intervention standards, planning and organizing social work activities, identifying the individual intervention program, monitoring their evolution, and collaborating with the rest of the multidisciplinary team.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

-Define the Social Work intervention of the center
-Carry out the assessment of the personal, family, and social aspects of the user
-Draft the Social Reports of the resident
-Administer, under the supervision of the director, the benefits of the residents.
-Notify the Administration of new admissions
-Coordination with other entities in everything that represents the interests of the residents
-Coordinate the admission of new residents
-Participate in the initial assessment, in the PAI (Individualized Care Plan), and the monitoring of the user
-Promote relationships with families
-Participate in the meetings of the interdisciplinary team
-Drafting of the protocols related to the functions of the social worker.
-Ensure that the rights of the residents are fulfilled and respected together with the rest of the team.

START DATE: November 2026
50% WORKING DAY from Monday to Friday.

Required profile:

Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work
Master's in Management of Social Centers (valuable)
Complementary training in care for people with disabilities
Knowledge of the framework of subsidies and contracts of the Community of Castilla la Mancha for this type of facility

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Permanent contract.
Working day: half-time, from Monday to Friday (10:00 to 13:45 H)
Salary according to collective agreement.
