What are we looking for?
We are looking for recent graduates of Master's Degree in any branch of Engineering related to aerospace and structures or recent graduates of Bachelor Degrees highly motivated in the aerostructure field.

Most relevant Degrees:

  • Education: Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering; Industrial Engineering (all specialties); Civil Engineering; Other related studies with an emphasis on design and calculation structures.

Nice to have

  • Valuable: International experience will be a plus
  • Soft skills: Team player, ability to take initiative and ownership of projects & results driven with innovative mindset

Languages

  • Languages: Advanced level of English. Spanish, French and/or German will be taken into consideration

The role

AIRBUS and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) offer an exclusive full-time programme combining academic excellence with hands-on professional experience: a Master's in Airframe Technology (MAIR) alongside an 11-month internship at AIRBUS facilities. During this placement, you will solve real aerospace engineering challenges under the guidance of a company mentor, building hands-on experience and a strong professional network.

Carried out by professionals working in aeroespace industry (including Airbus Employees), MAIR is fully delivered in English and covers the following modules:

  • Master General, Tutoring & Invited Lectures (6.2 ECTS)
  • Airframe Design. What for? (5.8 ECTS)
  • Computer Aided Design (CATIA) - Digital Mock-Up (5 ECTS)
  • Finite Element Modelling (4.4 ECTS)
  • Design (9.2 ECTS)
  • Structural Tests and Mechanical Characterization of Aeronautical Components (4.1 ECTS)
  • Checkstress (4.4 ECTS)
  • Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (4.1 ECTS)
  • Airframe Design. What if? (5.8 ECTS)
  • Practical Exercise (5 ECTS)

How you'll work

  • Duration: 1 academic year (Starts April 2027; August excluded)
  • Master Tuition: €9,000 (Payment in installments per semester available)
  • Internship Grant: €875 gross / month
  • Schedule: 35 hours/week | Monday to Friday (08:00 - 15:00)
  • UC3M Lectures: Monday to Thursday (17:00 - 21:00) (Note: Some sessions may be scheduled on Fridays)
