What we're looking for

Degree or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
Experience in the end-to-end development of Machine Learning models.
Experience in predictive modeling, classification, and churn models.
Solid knowledge of Python programming.
Experience in data processing and exploitation using SQL.
Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
Ability to translate business challenges into high-impact analytical solutions.
Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business profiles.
Analytical thinking, results orientation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with Spark and Big Data environments.
Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, and Machine Learning lifecycle management.
Experience in the deployment and productionization of models in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of the insurance sector and retention, churn, or portfolio management metrics.
Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary, business-oriented teams.

The role

What will you do at Allianz?
As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role within the Data Analytics team, leading the development and operation of advanced artificial intelligence models focused on customer retention and portfolio optimization in the Motor and Home lines.
Your main responsibilities will be:

What you'll do

Design, train, calibrate, and monitor churn predictive models, ensuring their accuracy, robustness, and continuous evolution.
Develop advanced analytical solutions that allow for the identification of abandonment risks and portfolio optimization opportunities.
Transform analytical results into actionable segmentations, prioritizations, and recommendations for business areas.
Drive retention campaigns in collaboration with the P&C and Portfolio Management teams, maximizing the impact on results.
Act as a liaison between business and analytics, facilitating the interpretation of models, insights, and conclusions.
Validate business hypotheses and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Supervise the quality of the data and the pipelines that feed the analytical models.
Analyze the performance of models and campaigns, identifying opportunities for improvement, retraining, and continuous optimization.
Contribute to the evolution of MLOps practices and the industrialization of models in cloud environments.
