The purpose of the position is to apply Alstom's instructions and procedures to create new codes and modify or update existing material codes in Alstom's coding management system, as well as to proceed with the maintenance of the material master in SAP (GSI), in accordance with the objectives and guidelines established in the Business Unit.

What you'll do

Apply Alstom's coding procedures and perform maintenance of the material master in GSI, specifically complying with the instructions of Services Spain and those required in the use of the indicated systems.

Apply Alstom's EHS and Sustainability procedures and policies, particularly the REACh directive for hazardous substance management.

Collaborate in the analysis and correct integration of Alstom's coding procedures into the activities and processes of the Business Unit and the Engineering function, developing and updating the necessary specific instructions.

Support in the search and identification of spare parts and materials used in the Business Unit's activities, and associated training for end users.

Together with the maintenance engineers, collaborate in the creation of material kits for the performance of maintenance or equipment overhaul activities.

Support in the identification of alternative references, as well as in the resolution of obsolescence problems in accordance with the guidelines and priorities agreed upon with the Engineering manager by virtue of the Business Unit's objectives.

Propose and contribute to the development of solutions and new processes that improve the prioritization, control, and efficiency of the coding and material master maintenance process, in alignment with the Business Unit's objectives.
