About the role

Company dedicated to the manufacturing of trailers and semi-trailers for trucks and other types of vehicles, is selecting mechanical personnel for their After-Sales Service in Valladolid.

The selected person will be responsible for detecting faults and repairing the mechanical and electrical/pneumatic systems of semi-trailer vehicles.

  • Direct contract with the company. Permanent position.

How you'll work

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (one week per month with split shift 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM).

Requirements

  • DIAGNOSIS OF ABS/EBS (WABCO, HALDEX)
  • AXLE REPAIR: DISASSEMBLY, REPLACEMENT OF BRAKE COMPONENTS, LUBRICATION, BEARING REPLACEMENT
  • BRAKES: REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR OF SHOE PADS AND PADS, CALIPER MAINTENANCE (greasing, gaskets, etc.)
  • SUSPENSION: REPLACEMENT OF AIR SPRINGS, LEAF SPRINGS, AIR SUSPENSION LEVELING VALVES, ADJUSTMENT OF PNEUMATIC SUSPENSIONS
  • ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS: CHECKING THE LIGHTING CIRCUIT, REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF LIGHTS, FUSES AND BULBS, LOCATING FAULTS, RUNNING WIRING, AND SECURING AND CONNECTING
  • BRAKE SYSTEMS: ABS/EBS? DIAGNOSIS OF FAULTS IN THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT, REPLACEMENT OF VALVES AND BRAKE ADJUSTMENT

Minimum requirements:

Vocational training in mechanics, welding, boiler-making, or similar.

Knowledge of electromechanics.

Handling of tools (drill, pneumatic gun, hydraulic jacks, wrenches...).

Crane truck and forklift license.

Experience in repairing semi-trailers or trucks.

Experience in repairing construction machinery, industrial vehicles, or similar is a plus.
