Senior Accountant - Accounting and Taxes

Essential requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing the full accounting cycle and preparing and filing taxes autonomously.
• Training in Administration and Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Mastery of the General Accounting Plan and updated tax knowledge.
• Experience in accounting closings.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and the AEAT electronic office.
• Ability to detect and resolve accounting errors and discrepancies.
• An organized, rigorous, proactive person committed to deadlines.
• Availability to work on-site in Arganda del Rey, on a split shift.

• 5 years or more of experience in similar positions.
• Experience in the accounting and tax management of several companies.
• Experience in industrial or metal sector companies.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and cost control.
• Ability to analyze margins, calculate the break-even point, and prepare profitability reports.
• Proficiency in ERP and business management tools.

We offer:

• Salary between €30,000 and €35,000 gross per year, depending on experience and knowledge.
• Full-time position with morning and afternoon shifts, on a split shift.
• On-site work in Arganda del Rey.

• Management of the full accounting cycle for several companies.
• Recording and reviewing customer and supplier invoices.
• Bank reconciliations and control of collections, payments, and maturities.
• Treasury monitoring and preparation of collection and payment forecasts.
• Control of customer and supplier balances and monitoring of unpaid invoices.
• Preparation and filing of taxes, ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
• Carrying out monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closures.
• Control of fixed assets, depreciation, provisions, and accruals.
• Preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and economic reports for Management.
• Preparation of annual accounts and coordination with external advisory services.
• Management of tax notifications and requirements.
• Organization and control of accounting and tax documentation.
