The role

What you'll do

Performs maintenance operations, accessory fitting and conversions in the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity in the automotive sector, in accordance with established procedures and times, and complying with quality, safety and environmental protection specifications.
Locates and diagnoses faults or breakdowns and repairs them, using electronic systems and computer programs for vehicle fault detection.
Analyzes the information supplied by diagnostic equipment, comparing it with the manufacturer's specifications to determine the maintenance and repair process.
Selects repair processes by interpreting the technical information contained in manuals and catalogs.

Selects the machines, tools and equipment, and safety measures needed to carry out maintenance processes.

Repairs assemblies, subassemblies and components of the vehicle's mechanical systems, using the repair techniques prescribed by the manufacturers.
Carries out preventive actions.

Requirements

Education: Vocational Training in Electromechanics / Vocational Training in Automotive
Previous experience in the position of 1 year or more.
Experience with heavy vehicles is a plus.
Desirable: D license (Bus)
Availability to work shifts: morning, afternoon, night.
