As a ramp agent, you are responsible for handling our passengers' baggage. One day you work in the baggage sorting area, but the next day you could be working on the apron—it's varied work! In the baggage sorting area, you ensure that all baggage is sorted by destination. Of course, we want baggage to reach the correct destination.

On the apron, you literally work "under the wings." As soon as the aircraft is in its parking position and the engines are shut down, you take action. You place chocks near the aircraft's wheels and put cones in the designated spots. Then you connect the ground power unit and position the stairs against the aircraft.

This is where your muscles come into play: you make sure baggage and cargo are unloaded from the aircraft. Once the aircraft is empty, the new baggage from departing passengers is loaded into the correct area of the aircraft so it can safely depart again. And, of course, all of this is done according to the procedures of the various airlines.

Aviapartner is one of the largest independent ground handling operators at 70 airports across 7 European countries (Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands) and South Africa. In Spain, we have approximately 2000 employees, including ramp agents, operations, and passenger services. Physical work will be your strength, but you also need to think logically. You are strategic, and your safety and that of your colleagues is paramount. You will take on the challenge of loading aircraft on time. Shift work is not a problem for you. And if you have an affinity for aviation, you've come to the right place. Additionally, you will need:

- Minimum education level: ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education).

- Experience is not required, though it is valued.

- A valid type B driver's license.

- Availability to work on weekends.

- Availability to complete mandatory, fully paid training lasting approximately 1 week.

·Battery recharging.

·Placing and removing chocks.

·Loading and unloading baggage from aircraft.

·Towing baggage.

·Placing and removing stairs.

·Placing and removing ASU (Air Start Unit).

·Refueling and cleaning vehicles.

·Connecting and disconnecting the pushback tug bar.

·Placing and removing ground support equipment.

·Checking, receiving, and dispatching cargo.

·Securing cargo.

·Operating forklifts to handle heavy loads.

·Duties typical of a driver of mechanical traction vehicles.

Como operador de rampa, eres el responsable de manejar el equipaje de nuestros pasajeros. En el sótano de equipajes se asegura de que todo el equipaje esté clasificado por destino. Por supuesto, queremos que el equipaje llegue al destino correcto.

En la plataforma, literalmente, trabajas "bajo las alas". Tan pronto como el avión está en su espacio de estacionamiento y los motores se apagan, entras en acción. Colocas los calzos cerca de las ruedas del avión y colocas los conos en los lugares indicados. Luego conectas la batería y colocas las escaleras contra la caja.

Aquí es donde entran en juego tus músculos: te aseguras de que el equipaje y la carga se retiren del avión. Cuando el avión está vacío, las nuevas maletas de los pasajeros que salen se cargan en el lugar correcto del avión para que pueda volver a partir de manera segura. Y, por supuesto sin olvidarse que esto se realiza de acuerdo con los procedimientos de las distintas aerolíneas.

El trabajo físico será tu fuerte, pero también el pensar lógicamente. Eres estratégico y tu seguridad y la de tus compañeros es primordial para ti. Tendrás el reto de cargar los aviones a tiempo. El trabajo por turnos no es un problema para ti. Y si tienes afinidad por la aviación, has venido al lugar correcto. Además necesitaras:

-Titulación mínima en ESO.

- No es necesaria experiencia, aunque sí es valorable.

- Permiso de conducir tipo B.

- Disponibilidad para trabajar los fines de semana.

- Disponibilidad para realizar una formación presencial obligatoria y totalmente gratuita con una duración aproximada de 1 semana.

·Carga y descarga de equipajes en aviones.

·Carreteo de equipaje.

·Colocación y retirada de escalera.

·Colocación y retirada de ASU.

·Repostaje y limpieza de vehículos.

·Desenganchar y enganchar la barra del Push-Back.

·Colocación y retirada de equipos de carga.

·Comprobación, recepción y envío de mercancías.

·Aseguramiento de mercancías.

·Manejo mecánico de cargas con carretilla elevadora.

·Funciones propias de conductor/a de vehículos de tracción mecánica.
