About the role

Grupo Avanza is looking to hire a mechanic for its heavy vehicle workshop in the Barcelona area on a permanent contract, with the possibility of growing within the company as a team leader in the medium/long term.

What you'll do

  • Locates and diagnoses faults or breakdowns and repairs them, using electronic systems and computer programs for detecting vehicle faults to detect them.
  • Analyzes the information provided by the diagnostic equipment, comparing it with the specifications given by the manufacturer to determine the maintenance and repair process.
  • Selects the repair processes by interpreting the technical information included in manuals and catalogs.
  • Selects the machines, tools, and safety equipment necessary to carry out the maintenance processes in the electromechanical area.
