At Babel, we are looking for a Profile specialized in the administration and support of Microsoft SQL Server databases, oriented towards guaranteeing the availability, performance, security, and operational continuity of production environments. The service is aimed at critical infrastructures and high-availability environments, providing specialized technical support and participation in technological evolution projects.

Main functions:
-Administer, configure, and maintain SQL Server platforms in production environments, guaranteeing their availability and correct functioning.
-Optimize database performance through execution plan analysis, indexing, and query tuning.
-Configure and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions (AlwaysOn, clusters, replication, partitioning).
-Participate in migration projects, version upgrades, and database architecture reviews.
-Perform advanced monitoring of critical environments, anticipating incidents and resolving them within established service agreements.
-Collaborate with other technical teams (systems, applications, security) to ensure the continuity, performance, and security of the platforms.
-Apply database security best practices (access management, encryption, auditing).
-Document configurations, operating procedures, and changes made to the managed environments.
