Because social well-being, accompaniment, and support for families are also part of the quality care we offer, we are looking to incorporate a Social Educator into our Ballesol Badalona center to design and facilitate educational and sociocultural activities that promote participation, socialization, and the integral well-being of our residents, always respecting their individual needs and abilities.

What you'll do

Design, plan, execute, and evaluate sociocultural and educational activities, combining a playful and therapeutic character, and considering the individual needs and abilities of each resident.
Determine the materials, resources, and budget necessary for the implementation of the activities, ensuring their efficient management.
Promote the participation of residents individually and collectively, fostering socialization and interrelation among them.
Intervene in the family and community spheres, involving families in activities and accompanying them when required, strengthening the relationship between the center and the resident's social environment.
Ensure compliance with the ethical principles of the center, in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Conduct, preventing any potentially unlawful or inappropriate behavior.
Collaborate with the center's multidisciplinary team, providing strategies and resources that favor the integral well-being of the residents.

Promote the participation, autonomy, and social and emotional development of the residents through educational, cultural, and recreational activities adapted to their needs. Your work will be fundamental to strengthening group cohesion, the relationship with families, and community integration, fostering an enriching, inclusive, and respectful environment.

Requirements

Degree in Social Education
MANDATORY Homologation by the Ministry of Education, in the case of foreign qualifications
Be registered in the corresponding Official College of Social Education and up to date with professional membership obligations
Preferably at least one year of previous experience in the geriatric field and knowledge of the user profile of residences.
