Requirements
Nice to have
- Preferably, a Technical Degree in Sociocultural Animation.
- Desirable at least six months of experience in a similar position.
- Additional training in Geriatrics is valuable.
- Desirable at least one year of previous experience in the geriatric field and knowledge about the user profile of residences.

The role
At Ballesol, we have been caring for the elderly for over 40 years and are a reference in the sector, with more than 55 centers throughout Spain and a team of over 4,500 committed professionals. We know that quality care goes beyond physical care: it also involves fostering joy, participation, and emotional well-being of our residents. Therefore, we are looking to incorporate a Sociocultural Animation Technician into our Ballesol EASO center.
What you'll do
Promote through educational and recreational activities the integral development of the resident individuals to stimulate their well-being and health.
- Develop and execute the various animation techniques that involve users in their free time and promote their integration and group development.
- Motivate residents about the importance of their participation to achieve their integration and positive relationship with the center.
- Access information sources and procedures to obtain the necessary resources and implement cultural processes.
- Communicate to your immediate supervisor any incidents or anomalies observed in the performance of your duties.
- Implementation of specific animation programs and projects.
