Sociocultural Animation Technician

• Higher Vocational Training in Sociocultural and Tourist Animation, Higher Vocational Training in Social Integration, or Diploma / Degree in Social Education.
• Desirable minimum experience of 1 year as a TASOC in a residential center for the elderly.
• Recommended complementary training in gerontology or similar.

At DomusVi, we continue to grow. With the opening of our new residential center DomusVi Gavá Ciutat, located in Gavá, we are looking to hire a Sociocultural Animation Technician (TASOC) who wants to be part of an exciting, innovative project with a clear purpose: caring for people.

To improve the quality of life of the residents by promoting their participation, integration, and well-being through sociocultural activities adapted to their needs and interests.

What will you contribute as a Sociocultural Animation Technician (TASOC)?

• Initial assessment of new residents with the aim of detecting their sociocultural activity preferences.
• Programming of the center's annual sociocultural animation activities, excursions, and leisure outings for the residents.
• Design of activities for resident entertainment with a focus on reality orientation and sensory activities.
• Define, within the Interdisciplinary Team, which residents will take part in each activity based on their abilities and preferences, and establish individual objectives.
• Execution of the center's sociocultural activities, contributing, in addition to their entertainment, to the integration of the residents and to a positive relationship with their environment.
• Assessment of the resident's evolution following participation in activities, and assessment of the activities based on the results. Assessment of the percentage of participating residents.
