We are looking to recruit a Prototype Engineer to provide support to the development area during the program launch phase at a major automotive Tier 1. The selected person will participate in the definition and implementation of product improvements, prototype construction and validation, as well as in the resolution of technical issues related to the fit, finish, assembly, and functionality of components.

• Prepare design modification proposals to resolve issues detected during vehicle development, validation, or construction.
• Analyze problems related to fit, surface finish, assembly, and component functionality.
• Design, build, and modify prototypes to validate technical solutions.
• Perform tests and validations on components and prototypes.
• Collect measurements, results, and technical validation reports.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation associated with product modifications.
• Present technical proposals and validation results to internal teams and the client.
• Coordinate the implementation of validated changes in vehicle builds.
• Work jointly with development, quality, validation, and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in the resolution of issues during the launch phases of new programs.
• Ensure compliance with the functional and quality requirements established by the client.
