The role

We are looking for a Transport Control Technician (TCT) to join an important project in the automotive sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for the operational monitoring of transport, coordination with logistics providers, and analysis of indicators to optimize inbound and outbound freight flows.

What you'll do

Monitor and control daily transport operations.
Supervise vehicle arrivals and departures at the plant or logistics centers.
Monitor dwell times and detect potential operational deviations.
Manage transport-related incidents and coordinate corrective actions with logistics providers.
Maintain constant communication with carriers, logistics operators, and internal departments.
Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities in logistics flows.
Prepare reports and track KPIs related to transport and service levels.
Participate in initiatives to optimize costs and logistics efficiency.
Coordinate incident resolution to minimize impact on operations.
Collaborate with logistics, planning, and supply chain areas to ensure the correct flow of materials.
Monitor compliance with service agreements and supplier performance.
Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing the logistics network.

Tools

Advanced Excel.
Proficiency in reporting tools and KPI tracking.
Power BI will be valued.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems will be valued.
Knowledge of logistics and transport management.
