We are looking for an Aerospace Interior Design Engineer to participate in aircraft customization, modification and conversion projects, collaborating in the development of engineering solutions for the Cargo & Cabin areas.

You will be part of an international and multidisciplinary environment, participating in all phases of the design cycle, from concept definition to manufacturing and installation support, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory and customer requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out engineering activities for the Cargo & Cabin areas in accordance with the design principles established during the development cycle.
  • Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies and aircraft installations.
  • Preparing design documentation in accordance with mechanical engineering standards and processes.
  • Defining mechanical interfaces with customers, suppliers and other engineering departments.
  • Participating in aircraft customization, modification and conversion projects.
  • Developing interior designs and cabin configurations.
  • Providing support to manufacturing and installation processes through the management of revisions, deviations and concessions.
  • Applying design criteria focused on weight and cost, in accordance with project requirements.
  • Identifying technical risks and participating in the definition of innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborating with the Stress, Production, Flammability, CVE departments and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in the preparation of technical proposals and estimates for different projects.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience in aerospace design, especially in Cargo & Cabin environments or aircraft structures.
  • Demonstrable experience in aircraft interiors, customizations and conversions.
  • Knowledge and experience with ATA 50.
  • Ability to develop differentiated cabin concepts, layouts and customization solutions.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX.
  • Experience with TeamCenter.
  • High level of English and Spanish.
  • Experience working on international projects and teams.
  • Ability to work in demanding environments and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience with MyAirbusWorld and/or MyBoeingFleet platforms.
  • Knowledge of aerospace certification processes.
