What will be your role?

We are looking for a person with experience in senior Python software engineering to build an agentic application on AWS.

• Develop and expand an agent built on AWS Bedrock AgentCore (memories, gateways, tools). The product already exists and works; this is continued development, not a greenfield project.
• Write production Python in an AWS environment, with unit tests and clean architecture.
• The agent receives questions in natural language and returns dynamic chart payloads. It goes well beyond an NL-to-SQL or a conversational chatbot.
• Portfolio data for R&D: planning and finance. The business logic lives in a semantic layer already defined by another team.
• Context: next-generation reporting tool for R&D, users from EVP down to project level.

Your profile:

o Mandatory requirements:
- Solid, hands-on Python, including unit testing.
- Design fundamentals: architecture, design principles, modular code. Mathieu asks about this directly in the interview and put it in these words: things you don't learn just by using an LLM.
- AWS as a developer: Lambda, ECS, Fargate. You must have written code that runs on AWS, not just deployed code written by others.
- Git, Docker, and shell scripting at a good level.
- Fluent English

¿Cuál será tu rol?

Buscamos una persona con experiencia en ingeniería de software Python senior para la construcción de una aplicación agéntica sobre AWS.

• Desarrollar y ampliar un agente construido sobre AWS Bedrock AgentCore (memories, gateways, tools). El producto ya existe y funciona; es continuidad de desarrollo, no un greenfield.
• Escribir Python de producción en entorno AWS, con tests unitarios y arquitectura limpia.
• El agente recibe preguntas en lenguaje natural y devuelve payloads de gráficos dinámicos. Va bastante más allá de un NL-to-SQL o un chatbot conversacional.
• Datos de portfolio de R&D: planificación y finanzas. La lógica de negocio farma vive en una capa semántica que ya está definida por otro equipo
• Contexto: herramienta de reporting de nueva generación para R&D, usuarios desde EVP hasta nivel de proyecto.

Tu perfil:

o Requisitos obligatorios:
- Python sólido y hands-on, incluyendo unit testing.
- Fundamentos de diseño de software: arquitectura, principios de diseño, código modular. Mathieu pregunta esto directamente en la entrevista y lo dijo con estas palabras: cosas que no se aprenden solo usando un LLM.
- AWS como desarrollador: Lambda, ECS, Fargate. Tiene que haber escrito código que corre en AWS, no solo desplegado el de otros.
- Git, Docker y shell scripting a buen nivel.
- Inglés fluido
