QA Automation (Playwright)

We are looking for a specialist in Software Automation with experience in financial environments to develop and maintain test automation solutions using Playwright.

The selected person will work closely with Product Owners, QA, Developers, Project Managers, and Management to ensure the quality and stability of applications, participating in the definition and implementation of automation strategies aligned with business needs.

• Develop and maintain automation code based on functional and technical requirements.
• Design, execute, and optimize automated tests using Playwright.
• Automate functional, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in the validation of APIs and services.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate in their resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of frameworks, processes, and best practices in automation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Developers, PMs, and Management throughout the application lifecycle.

• Experience in API test automation.
• ISTQB certification.

• Proven experience in software test automation.
• Solid experience with Playwright.
• Programming knowledge, especially in TypeScript.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Insomnia.
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Experience working with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Previous experience in Finance Services (banking or insurance).
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to interact with technical and business teams.
• Availability to work in Barcelona with at least one day per week in the office.

• Experiencia en automatización de pruebas de APIs.
• Certificación ISTQB.

• Experiencia demostrable en automatización de pruebas de software.
• Experiencia sólida con Playwright.
• Conocimientos de programación, especialmente en TypeScript.
• Experiencia en pruebas de APIs utilizando herramientas como Postman, SoapUI o Insomnia.
• Conocimientos de Git y flujos de control de versiones.
• Experiencia trabajando con procesos y herramientas de CI/CD.
• Experiencia previa en Finance Services (banca o seguros).
• Conocimientos de metodologías y buenas prácticas de testing.
• Capacidad para interactuar con equipos técnicos y de negocio.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar en Barcelona con presencia en oficina al menos una vez por semana.
