What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in vehicle quality projects, product quality, or industrial launches within the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and production environments.
  • Experience in the detection, analysis, and resolution of quality incidents.
  • Ability to coordinate activities between different departments and technical areas.
  • Experience in monitoring action plans and implementing corrective measures.
  • Knowledge of analysis tools and quality indicator monitoring.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and monitoring reports.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Minimum English level B2.
  • Analytical skills, organisational ability and a results-oriented approach.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Previous experience in vehicle launch projects.
  • Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools in the automotive sector.

The role

We are looking to hire an Automotive Launch Engineer to participate in a vehicle quality project at plant, collaborating in the deployment and monitoring of quality processes associated with both the vehicle's series life and the introduction of product evolutions.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with the Quality, Engineering, Production, Planning, and Project areas, contributing to ensuring the fulfillment of quality objectives during the different launch phases.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Deploy and execute the quality processes defined for product evolutions during the series life.
  • Verify that the organization necessary to achieve the quality objectives is correctly established, including working methods, interlocutors, and coordination between areas.
  • Coordinate activities with the Quality, Engineering, Production, Planning, and Project managers.
  • Prepare and monitor the detection and control plans applicable to pre-series vehicles.
  • Define, together with the technical teams, the necessary controls after vehicle manufacturing.
  • Monitor the vehicles manufactured and tested during the different launch phases.
  • Detect, record, and analyze product or process quality anomalies.
  • Lead the treatment and monitoring of detected incidents with the corresponding interlocutors.
  • Coordinate the implementation of palliative and definitive solutions.
  • Verify the effectiveness of the implemented corrective actions.
  • Audit the correct implementation of the solutions necessary to achieve the quality objectives.
  • Monitor product and process results.
  • Manage quality convergence and the closure of open points.
  • Prepare indicators, status updates, and progress reports for the project managers.
  • Guarantee compliance with the planning associated with the different launch phases.
