Finance Internship - Management Control

At Carrefour, we are looking to bring in a student to join our Express Franchises team through an Internship Program at our Omega Headquarters in Alcobendas.

This opportunity will allow you to immerse yourself in financial management analysis, P&L modeling, and the use of cutting-edge analytical tools to support business decision-making.

What will your functions be during the internship?

Training alongside the business analysis team, you will collaborate in:

P&L Analysis: Construction and modeling of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for the preparation of business cases.

Variance Control: Calculation and monitoring of variances by concept within the franchise business results.

Reports and presentations: Preparation of executive presentations and supporting material for decision-making.

Administrative support: Continuous support in the administrative and organizational tasks specific to the department.

Ongoing studies: Students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Finance, or a similar degree (it is an essential requirement to maintain active enrollment to sign the internship agreement).

Financial knowledge: Basic understanding of fundamental financial statements (P&L structure, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).

IT tools:

Advanced proficiency in Excel

Handling of the rest of the Office suite.

Knowledge of or active interest in the use of Artificial Intelligence tools applied to data analysis.

Languages: Native or fluent Spanish. A functional level of English will be positively valued.
