Degree in Nursing
+3 years of experience in an insurance company or hospital administration/billing area.

Nice to have

Clinical experience in a hospital will be valued.

The role

Location: Madrid, Spain

We are a global Health Insurance company, offering a wide range of health plans and services, as well as health and wellness programs created to meet the needs of our clients, providers, and partners.

We are looking to add a nurse to the company's Healthcare Management team, a Hospital Inspector who will be the eyes of the company in the hospital and the voice of the hospital within the company.

What you'll do

Control of medical expenditure.
Optimization of hospital stays.
Review of hospital billing.
Improvement of the customer experience for admitted patients.
Control of census and monitoring of hospital admissions.
Review and control of hospital billing.
Improvement of the Cigna customer experience in the use of the insurance.
Call center support for healthcare advisory.
Referral of patients toward Case Management.
Control and management of medical expenditure (hospitals and healthcare professionals).
Control of the Authorization/Execution/Billing circuit of the service.
Detection of FWA (Fraud, Waste and Abuse).
Design and implementation of cost-efficient procedures according to specialties.
Management of hospital beds in hospitals.
Provider negotiation: annual rates, reconciliation of billing differences.
Implementation of electronic billing for providers.
Design and negotiation of healthcare provider fee schedules.
