The role
What you'll do
- Run copper and fiber optic cabling through trays, racks, and conduits.
- Label, organize, and log cabling according to established management standards.
- Perform connections on patch panels, racks, and active equipment (cross-connect).
- Carry out continuity tests, certify links, and document results.
- Conduct periodic inspections to detect damage, improper bends, or defects in connectors and cabling.
- Comply with quality, safety, and best practice procedures in data center environments.
