Requirements

What we're looking for

· Availability to travel and reside away from home (including abroad) for extended periods.

· Vocational training (Middle or Higher Grade) in Electricity, Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar.

· Knowledge of low voltage, alternating/direct current, technical regulations.

· Languages: basic to intermediate English.

· Proficiency with technical tools and software (AutoCAD, Excel, Word...).

Nice to have

· Previous experience in industrial technical installations will be valued.

The role

At NORTEMPO we are recruiting for one of our clients, a company specializing in IT consulting and development, several profiles for Telecommunications Technicians.

What you'll do

Among their main functions are (depending on level and position progression):

· Installation of conduits (rejiband, PVC pipe, cable trays...).

· Laying and connecting structured cabling (UTP/FTP, fiber optics).

· Assembly and connection of electrical panels.

· Reading and interpreting electrical and topological plans and diagrams.

· Technical supervision, report writing, internal audits.

· Fiber optic fusion splicing, CCTV installation, access control.

· Configuration of LAN/WAN/WiFi networks, switches, and routers.

· Cabling certification (OLTS, OTDR), network administration.

What positions are we looking for?

· Installation Technician I - Ideal for people with technical training and no previous experience. Hands-on learning with supervision.

· Installation Technician II - Professionals with 1-3 years of experience looking to consolidate their technical career.

· Installation Technician III - Technicians with autonomy and advanced experience in electrical and telecommunications installations.
