Plan network needs, from demand forecasting to distribution to warehouses, in coordination with the other involved areas (Supply Planning, Commercial, Marketing, Territorial Operations Director...) ensuring the service level to the Pharmacy Office and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
In their demand zones:
- Maintain the historical sales series and generate the statistical demand forecast, interacting with Distribution and Marketing to enrich it, in order to avoid losing sales and resulting in a negative service level for the customer.
- Monitor assortment quality per warehouse, adapting it if necessary, a key task to offer the customer the greatest number of possible combinations, with optimal delivery time.
- Track the KPIs associated with the Service Level to the Pharmacy Office, such as shortages, and the KPIs relating to demand, such as Forecast Accuracy, in order to be able to make improvement decisions.
In their Supply Zones:
- Keep the segmentation of references updated, and thus assign inventory policies taking into account specific tasks of each business model.
- Review the stock policies applicable in each of the warehouses, in order to optimize the stock and its operation.
- Manage the impact on stocks of launches and discontinuations of references to optimize obsolescence and expiration risk.
- Balance and optimize trunk transport flows and receiving activity in the warehouses, a necessary task to perform warehouse operational tasks in an efficient manner, and thus improve the service level to customers.
- Interact with Supply Planners and with Territorial Management for the management of needs in restricted supply items, and thus be able to carry out purchases in a more effective way that directly impacts a smoother operational improvement and allows reaching the customer more quickly, optimizing delivery times.
- Participate in the S&OP process and budget preparation, to thus adapt resources to assigned tasks, and improve operational sizing.
- Monitor the different inventory KPIs, evaluating stock levels, inventory health, etc. All this while managing the proper balancing of inventory within the Supply Zone. A key process in the improvement of the company's Cash Flow and working capital levels.
